ARTastic challenge

Joys of Christmas
Thought I would share with you my creation for the ARTastic challenge this month. I was inspiried by this lovely painting 'a Blessing of Christmas' by Thomas Kinade. Which is a beautiful painting one of my favorites. We had to include a snowman, Christmas tree and the word Christmas in our title.

Now we have a Negative Sketch done by Deb.
What we need to do on this sketch was to have some stamping, and fabric on this sketch.
I had used one of Hannah Seniors picture for the sketch. I had stamped behind the photo and added a canvas as my fabric.

Moving right along we have our SENCE-ATIONAL CONTEST:

SENSE-ational Summer contest # 3 - the TEXTURES of SUMMER.
We all know that TEXTURE is not a SENSE however I couldn't resist adding it to the contest. Everyone is going to have a different Summer TEXTURE they love.

Here are your details:

Created layout must be about the TEXTURES of SUMMER!

TECHNIQUE: Distressing must be present on your layout. Distressing gives your papers or cardstock a well worn look. You can include tearing, sanding, crumpling, creasing, staining, wire brushing, scratching etc....... the more distressed the higher the points :) = 15 points MAX

ADDED CRITERIA for Bonus points
1. A Journal tag = 1pt

Winter Fun
Here is Jennifer and Hannah playing out in the snow, they had fun until Jennifer tipped Hannah over in the sled. Then the fun was over. Pictures taken in 1995.

Here is a our Song/lyric challenge done by Shazza.
Celine Dion - Because You Loved Me lyrics

For all those times you stood by me
For all the truth that you made me see
For all the joy you brought to my life For all the wrong that you made right
For every dream you made come true
For all the love I found in you
I'll be forever thankful baby
You're the one who held me up
Never let me fall
You're the one who saw me through through it all

We had to pick either  the title or phase, or a single word.
I picked the phase;
"For all the joy you brought to my life"
Her is my take on this challenge.

"For all the joy you brought to my life"
My next challenge was to use an imperfect photo.
So I had pick these photos of Jennifer helping me cookies.
Please Mom!
