Here is our Song/Lyric challenge. "LOVE TODAY" bY MIKA
Love Today"
Doom da da di da di Doom da da di da di
Everybody's gonna love today,
Gonna love today, gonna love today.
Everybody's gonna love today, gonna love today.
Anyway you want to, anyway you've got to,
Love love me, love love me, love love.
I've been crying for so long,
Fighting tears just to carry on,
But now, but now, it's gone away.
Hey girl why can't you carry on,
Is it 'cause you're just like your mother,
A little tight, like to tease for fun,
Well you ain't gonna tease no other,
Gonna make you a lover.
Everybody's gonna love today,
love today, love today.
Everybody's gonna love today,
Anyway you want to, anyway you've got to,
Love love me, love love me, love love.
Girl in the blue with the big bust on,
Big bust on, big bust on.
Wait till your mother and your papa's gone,
Papa's gone
Momma, momma papa, shock shock me,
Shock shock me, shock shock.
HERE is my submission for this song.

I wanted to do this picture of Hannah and Caitlin. Here they are, at the Minneapolis Airport March 18th 2012, at 5:30a.m. We arrive at 5:00a.m.we had a 3 hour wait until she broad ed her flight to Munich Germany at 8:45 a.m.
Moving right along , this month I had 2 challenges over at Soul Scrappers,my second one was the theme. I had so many ideas running Thu my mind, so I settle on Weddings.
Here is my sample page for my Soul Sisters.
I decide to do a single photo of myself. This is me almost 25 years ago.
"Forever yours"
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a lovely week, until next time.

Here is Hannah and her friend Caitlin over in Germany at the Marienplatz. This page didn't turn out what I wanted, I wanted to capture the colors of the New Town Hall building in the background, but it seems like the photo blends in to much into the Dp.
Next I have a negative sketch .Created by Joy, she is our newest member on the Soul Scrappers designer team. She's a very lovely and talented lady.
I had found this cute little Photo of Jennifer when she was 4 months old.
Here is mine take on the sketch.

I was very excited to hear from my daughter Hannah yesterday, she has been in Germany the past week, she is having the time of her life. We will be picking her up on Wednesday evening. I'm so excited to see, she has been gone for almost 10 days. She went to Germany on her Spring break, also with her German Class.
Anyways, I have been busy doing lots of different things this past week, between my ATC's to making my tags, and finishing my entry for Paper Secrets. Plus I had time to make a batch of Blueberry muffins. Don't they look good Yummmmmmmmmy....
I will start out with my sketch entry over at Paper Secrets. This is week 8. I have been doing the challenged called SCRAP YOUR ASS OFF IN 7 DAYS.
In this layout I had made my flowers using the Tim Holtz Tatter Floral, one of my favorite die cuts. I used 2 of the larger petals and 2 of the medium size petals, then I attached them together using metal brad, then I ran them under water to so they were really wet, then I folded them up looking like a rose bud. As I let them set for awhile, then I unfolded the petals and let them dry. I think they turn gorgeous. Here is a closer look of them.
I might have to try this technique again. No matter what layout I do .I always have flowers on it. I guess it's a girl thing, who doesn't loves flowers real or not.
Thanks for stoppin by:) until next time have a wonderful week.
Hugs
Mary
