Art Journaling

Hello ladies:
I'm back with a exciting project I have been doing the pass few months. This is something I thought I would never do.  AndI'm loving it. It's fun and messy.
In January there was a new challenge. It's called "Joy's Art Journaling".

Here are the few page I have done.

January Inspiration Quotes:
It’s a helluva start, being able to recognize what makes you happy.
Lucille Ball

February Inspiration Quotes:
I celebrate myself, and sing myself.
Walt Whitman

May the wings of the butterfly kiss the sun.
And find your shoulder to light on.
To bring you luck, happiness and riches.
Today, tomorrow and beyond.
Irish Blessing
It's very different compare to Scrap booking, your working with all sorts of materials, such as paint, texture paste, inks and stamps.
Thanks for stopping.

Time to Catch up.

Next we have our Guest Designer this month, Mandy Dodd. What a wonderful designer.  We had to create a background for our Layout.

Here is what I created:

Solitude
Actually this was really fun to do. First of all, I added gesso, it's a primer paint. then I added corrugated  card broad on the both sides and bottom of the cardstock. I also made a texture paste and put that on with an old steak knife. Then I added 3 different color paints. This photo was taken by Hannah.  It was taken on a old abandon farm. What your looking at is broken down Windmill.

--------------------
Moving right along we have our Song/ Lyric challenge.

Jump by Van Halen

Here are the Lyrics.....
I get up, and nothing gets me down.
You got it tough. I've seen the toughest around.
And I know, baby, just how you feel.
You've got to roll with the punches to get to what's real
Oh, can't you see me standing here?
I've got my back against the record machine
I ain't the worst that you've seen.
Oh, can't you see what I mean?
Ah, I might as well jump. Jump!
Might as well jump.
Go ahead, jump. Jump!
Go ahead, jump.

Here is mine LO:
