Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

Hello everyone...
I'm back with a few more Layouts, I'd love to share with you.

Starting out with  Dr. Seuss Birthday which was March 2.

Theodore Seuss Geisel, beloved children's author and illustrator known as Dr. Seuss was born in Massachusettes, USA on March 2, 1904.  He published over 60 books during his career, selling over 600 million copies and being translated into more than 20 languages. He lived to be 87 years old.

We truly love him
in a house.
We truly love him
with a mouse.
We truly love him
here or there.
We truly love him
anywhere.
We truly love the silly goose.
We truly love old Dr. Seuss!

Choose one of these titles or select your own favorite (or a modification thereof), as a springboard for your page. OR scrap a page using a Seuss character, a Seuss event, or anything Dr. Seuss related.

The book title I picked is....

Oh, the Places You'll Go.jpg

Oh, the place you'll go!

Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful day

Hello everyone....
I'm back with another fun project I just finished.
Today I'm going to show a page I did for a
Quote challenge over at http://soul-scrappers.ning.com/forum/topics/qc-56-march.

The quote I used was ...
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass.... it's about learning to dance in the rain"

Fun Day

This was really a fun Layout to make.
This stamp set from Jo Firth-young. Very talented lady.
I hunted all over the internet , and for the life of
me I couldn't find this set. So to make  long story
short, I have a dear friend that does a lot mixed media
and asked her if she had seen this set. Well, bless her heart
she found this set for me. Thank you from the bottom
of my heart.

Thanks for stopping until next time have a wonderful  day.

Hello it's me  again,
I will be sharing a few more projects I just finished.

We have a brand new challenge over at Soul Scrappers. It's called "ONE WORD".

My word for this month is "REFLECT".  Some ideas: To reflect (to think, ponder or meditate), reflections (to reflect an image).  Again, you don't have to use the actual word.

How cool is this photo. I have no idea how Hannah and her friends took this photo, but I knew I had to scrap this photo, plus it was perfect for this challenge.

Moving right along we have a Sketch challenge.
The is sketch is from
By Page Drafts/The Nifty Pixel, Release 13, Template 1
Thanks to Team designer Libby
for a great sketch.

Here is my take on the sketch.

SSQ29 Doilies and Lace

SSQ (Soul Scrappers Quest) ? Here's what happens.

1. Sign up to show you are interested (and this means you will be sent a pack of FREE goodies to use on your page/ project - you will not know what is in the package but it might include some papers, ribbons, die cuts, journal cards, stamped items, and maybe even a surprise). We have a maximum of 20 participants, so sign up quick.

2. Everyone receives the same packet of goodies - the key is how you use these items to make an original page, using most or all of the goodies supplied.

3. By signing up you are agreeing to participate in this challenge. You can make a layout, OTP or mixed media item.

4. The only hint you will get is the theme, so for this challenge we will scrap the theme
